Preparation
It is important that you do a patch test 24 hours prior to each and every use. If no adverse reaction after this time, proceed as per instructions. Ensure your skin is clean, dry, and free from oils, creams and/or lotions. Long hair should be trimmed to about 4mm prior to waxing, to help give the best result. Warm the wax according to the leaflet instructions
Directions for Use
Stir the wax to an even consistency. The outer areas will be warmer and thinner than to the cooler and thicker centre. Mix together to an even consistency. Proceed only if the patch test proved acceptable to you. Check wax temperature is at a comfortable heat. Find the direction of the hair growth. Dip the spatula up to 3cm into the wax. Use the edge of the spatula and apply firm pressure to spread Marzena Liquid Sugar Wax in a thin film with the direction of hair growth. You’ve got it right if you can still see hair and skin through the wax. Avoid the temptation to scrape the spatula back and forward. Hold skin taut with one hand. With the other hand, lift the bottom corner of the strip, then zip back quickly in one firm movement, pulling the strip close and parallel to the surface of the skin, not away from it. Any residual wax can easily be rinsed off with a little water and a clean cloth. A cold compress can be applied to the area you have just waxed, to help cool and calm the skin. The more you wax, the more your skin becomes used to the feeling and the pain is minimised.
