Yes, always pre-test 24 hours before each use on the area of treatment. Your skin sensitivity levels can vary due to climatic, hormone levels (including that time of the month for women), food intake, medication that affects the skin and other outside influences. All Marzena products should be pre-tested, if there is no reaction after 24 hours, you can proceed with the full treatment.

Marzena hair removers exfoliate skin in addition to removing hair, so using them before a self tanning product will help you to have a more even tan. Wait 24 hours between using Marzena products and tanning.

No, it is advised that you wait at least 24 hours before heading out into the sun. Always use sunscreen.

Yes – our Marzena Natural Wax Strips can be re-used up to 5 times! These unique wax strips are made using sustainably sourced natural Pine Tree resin wax formula which is very tacky, allowing each strip to be used more times than other standard wax strips. Our Sensitive Wax Strips can be re-used up to 3 times. To re-use a strip, fold it in half, warm between your hands for 5 seconds before unfolding and using again. NOTE: Waxing your face? It's important NOT to wax the same area twice as repeated waxing of this delicate area can cause irritation. Always follow the instructions to prepare the skin and wax strips before you commence waxing to ensure you remove as much hair as possible with one treatment.

Warm the strips between your hands for 5 seconds to make them supple. Slowly separate the 2 strips, to ensure an even layer of wax on each strip, giving you 2 ready to use strips. Apply the strip with firm pressure, smoothing down in the direction of the hair growth with your palm 3 times, ensuring the hair is immersed in wax. Holding the skin firm and tight (taut) with one hand, grab the strip with the other, and quickly zip back against the hair growth. Aim to keep the strip close and parallel to the skin for maximum results.

Depilatories contain ingredients that work by breaking the bonds of hair. The bonds give hair strength and structure, so when you break these bonds, the hair can easily be wiped away and removed.

Depilatory lotions work by dissolving the hair just below the surface of the skin whereas shaving sharply cuts the hair off at the skin surface. This means you’re not left with unattractive prickly stubble. Also, Marzena products help moisturize and exfoliate your skin.

Our Sensitive Hair Removal Lotion is a gentle formula for sensitive skin and delicate areas of the body such as the underarms or bikini.

Our regrowth inhibitor helps to keep your hair free for longer. It contains a combination of ingredients proven to be effective at inhibiting hair growth, by targeting its action on the new root cells at the base of the follicle. This prevents, slows and weakens new hair formation, thereby effectively decreasing hair growth and appearance overtime.

You should leave at least 72 hours between subsequent applications of Marzena creams.

This varies between products: Sensitive Hair Removal Lotion – works in as little as 3 minutes on fine hair, maximum 7 minutes on coarse hair. Pink Clay Leg Mask – works in as little as 5 minutes on fine hair, maximum 10 minutes on coarse hair.

For best results, we recommend using a soft cloth and wash lotion thoroughly away with plenty of water. Do not rub or apply soap.

Yes, in addition to dissolving hair, Marzena lotions help remove unwanted dead cells on the skins surface and include natural ingredients to moisturise and nourish your skin as they remove hair.

We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying products such as creams, deodorant, perfumes or tanning lotions in the area you’d applied the Hair Removal Lotion on. It is important to keep your skin moisturised, but please use creams that are fragrance free.

If no hair comes off, it may be because skin was not completely clean and dry before applying the lotion (moisturisers can act as a barrier on the skin). The lotion must be liberally applied, with an even layer. Always make sure you time the treatment carefully and wash hands immediately after applying the cream.

Yes! Our sugarcane tubes are 100% kerbside recyclable after use.

Both the Pink Clay Hair Removal Mask and Sensitive Hair Removal Lotion tubes are a material that is made from 80% sugarcane plastic. Sugarcane is a renewable source that is a better and more sustainable way to make plastic. This helps reduce our carbon footprint and it’s just one of the many ways we do our bit for the environment.

Yes, all components are recyclable and are clearly marked on the packaging. We use a cosmetic grade glass jar, lid (recycle number 5) and seal (recycle number 2).

No they are not. The Marzena Liquid Sugar Liquid is water soluble, meaning the formula can be cleaned up simply using water. This is not harmful to our waterways, sustainability and kind to the planet at the heart of the Marzena ethos. Our packaging says water soluble on the front, so you know you’re making a good choice for the planet.

We recommend for the hair to be between 2-6mm long for the wax to be able to grip the hair. Make sure your skin is clean and free from moisturisers, creams or perfumes.

A thick coating won’t be effective, so we recommend a thin layer than evenly covers your hair for best results.

Our Hair Lightener is a simple and effective way to gently lighten unwanted darker hair. With our two-cream formula, it is simple for you to mix what you need, when you want it. Remember to always do a patch test 24 hours prior before doing a full treatment.

For our Marzena Hair Lightener to work effectively, you need to ensure you are adding in equal amounts of both the lightener and vitaliser into the mixing pottle

No, tighten the caps on the tubes securely and store in a cool dry place until the next treatment.

It takes 8-10 regular bleaching treatments to go from a deep dark brown to blonde. Natural progression is black-brown-reds-light brown/dull blonde-blonde. Regular bleaching means weekly.

Our Hair Lightener must not be rubbed in or scrapped off. This leads to tiny abrasions in the hair follicle which can cause the product to remain in the pore and cause irritation. Always remember wipe off with a damp cloth or an allergy may be the cause if known.

It is ideal for all types of facial and body hair - including upper lip, jaw, chin, side of face, arms, hands, and feet.

Our oil is suitable for use on the body as it includes a gentle fragrance. If you wish to use it on your face, please conduct a small patch test on your face to test for any sensitivity, if there are no reactions 24 hours later, you can use this on your face.

For best results use immediately after waxing treatment. Press the pump down multiple times to activate. Apply 1-2 pumps to the treatment area, massage in small gentle movements until all sticky wax residue has been removed.
